Tuscany wedding in iconic venues – La Vitaleta and Locanda in Tuscany
In June, I had the incredible privilege of photographing the wedding of Fabio and Uyen, a truly unforgettable destination wedding in Tuscany. Their celebration took place across two of the most iconic wedding venues in Italy, surrounded by the timeless beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
The ceremony was held in a small, picturesque chapel nestled among the golden wheat fields, La Vitaleta, a place that has become one of the most symbolic and sought-after locations for couples dreaming of a Tuscany wedding. It’s one of those magical spots that perfectly captures the essence of romance and Italian charm, ideal for couples looking for a “wow” moment on their special day.
After the ceremony, the couple and their guests moved to another iconic Tuscan venue — La Locanda in Tuscany, set right in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. Known worldwide for its imperial dinner table set in the middle of the wheat fields, this venue offers a one-of-a-kind luxury wedding experience. Every celebration there is unique: the table setting, floral design, and lighting change with every couple, yet the atmosphere remains equally breathtaking — a long imperial table under the open sky, surrounded by the colors of Tuscany, with chandeliers seemingly floating in the air.
What truly made this wedding even more special was Uyen’s impeccable sense of style. The bride wore three stunning dresses, each reflecting a different moment of the day. For the ceremony, she chose an exquisite lace gown by Eli Polignano, delicate and timeless. For the dinner, she changed into a soft, flowing gown, perfect for capturing unforgettable sunset portraits around the iconic Tuscan table. And finally, for the party, she wore a sparkling, glamorous dress designed for dancing the night away under the stars.
Alongside an exceptional team of vendors, from talented musicians and violinists to a DJ who created the perfect atmosphere, everything came together beautifully. Music, light, and landscape all played a part in crafting a truly memorable luxury wedding in Tuscany.
From a photographer’s perspective, this wedding was pure inspiration. I was able to blend editorial-style portraits, candid moments, and documentary storytelling, capturing both the elegance and the authenticity of the day. Working with Uyen and Fabio allowed me to explore both the romantic and the fashion-inspired side of wedding photography — a combination that makes this celebration one I’ll never forget.
