Morritz and Claudia are a young German couple, from Frankfurt, who have decided to get married in Tuscany, near Siena.
There are many foreigners who fall in love with Italy, but Tuscany in particular has a charm that leads many couples to decide to celebrate the most important day of their lives right there.
In Tuscany there are many types of locations, from the most rustic to the most luxurious, ancient villas for romantic weddings or estates immersed in the hills where ceremonies can be held outdoors among the vineyards or in the shade of some beech.
Claudia and Morritz chose the Certosa di Pontignano, a magical place, a former convent with manicured lawns and wonderful courtyards and a splendid frescoed church where the ceremony took place.
La Certosa also has many rooms obtained from the rooms of the convent, furnished with taste and respect for the place, where the guests stayed for three days, thus being able to visit Siena and the characteristic Tuscan villages of the area.
The newlyweds have relied on a Ligurian wedding planner, Carmen Piscina of “Italiansmartwedding”, who has tried to set up tables, the church and the party according to the taste of their customers and respecting the importance of the place. It was not a luxurious but very elegant wedding, reflecting the character and desires of the couple.
Morritz and Claudia chose us as photographers because they immediately loved the idea of the spontaneity of our wedding photos and the fact of giving priority to a type of reportage photo that could capture the emotions of that special day, for this they left us free to photograph every moment of the day, trusting us completely.
At the wedding there were many children, who had fun playing on the lawns thanks to the help of the Nannys, three very smart girls who made them play throughout dinner so as not to disturb the guests.
The bride and groom and their guests were finally able to party until late in the arcades of the former convent, a truly suggestive place where they danced and enjoyed the open bar.
This destination wedding in Tuscany was particular for its elegance and for the perfect location that allowed the guests, even during an half hour of rain, to enjoy the party.
